NEW DELHI: Tesla CEO Elon Musk, known for his social media outreach, took to Twitter to troll tech companies aiming to roll out electric vehicles in the market.
Sony, Apple, LG, Huawei and a handful of tech giants have shown interest in exploring the electric vehicle domain. In fact, Sony and Huawei have shown intent by revealing the Vision S prototype and SERES SF5 respectively.
A netizen tweeted that Apple, Xiaomi, LG, Sony, and Huawei are ‘making a car’. Elon Musk, in a reply, said ‘prototypes are easy, production is hard’.

At the time of filing the story, Musk’s tweet had garnered significant reaction with over 9,600 reshapes and 178,100 likes.
US-based Tesla retails 4 electric vehicles, namely: Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X SUV.
Tesla is also planning to begin its operations in India later this year.
